About Us
The original lodge was built in 2002 by one of Hieu’s oldest Black minority families who have lived in the village for four generations. Prior to building the lodge, the family worked in agriculture and woodwork. Then, when Pu Luong’s tourism scene emerged, the family partnered with Viet Nam Eco tours to accommodate guests from all over the world, sharing lovingly prepared meals and authentic interactions.
Since 2019, the lodge is now fully owned and operated by Viet nam Eco Tours, incorporating all of these original aspects with modern updates to the facilities and excursions.

The setting of Pu Luong Riverside Lodge is truly the stuff dreams are made of. Surrounded by a dramatic scenery of mountain peaks and lush valleys filled with rice, corn, and wheat, you’ll find us within Pu Luong Nature Reserve, which encompasses an area of 40 km2 and stretches all the way south from just outside of Mai Chau town.

Friendly Staff
The owners and staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the sights around Pù Luông. I felt like I was home from the moment I arrived. Good food, great views and an excellent experience. Also, this place is next to a waterfall, which is great for swimming.

When can I check in to the lodge?
You can check in from 15:00. If you arrive earlier, you can store your baggage in the Lodge’s baggage area until your room is ready. If the room has been cleaned and is ready before 15:00, you may have access to the room earlier. Please be aware of our additional charge for early check-in.
