Day 1: Discovering the wild features of Pu Luong

Your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Mai Chau at 7:30 am and take you to the center of Pu Luong Nature Reserve where you begin your journey to discover the country, people and culture of Thai Ethnic Minority. After 45 minutes on the car, you will start hiking from Kho Muong, Ban Bong village … on the trail. This is the route that allows you to take the most realistic photos of the daily activities of the Black Thai people, Explore Kho Muong Bat Cave. Coming here, You can also exchange and talk with them, go to local’s houses to drink tea to learn more about their lives. The people here are very honest, friendly and hospitable, communicate by shaking hands, offer tea and drink when meeting guests, like to talk about agricultural life, family, age so you can feel comfortable. chat with them.

Stop for lunch at Homestay Kho Muong

In the afternoon, continue to move through many villages such as Lan Ngoai village to learn how to weave traditional fabrics, Ban Hieu… With each village is a different beauty that will give you many experiences. Our Guide will introduce you to the interesting features of those experiences. The rest of the time you will rest, chat or learn to cook with Host family to prepare a great dinner.

Day 2: Explore the Ancient Village – Water Wheel

After breakfast, you will say goodbye to your Thai family, climb up a rather steep slope to start admiring the terraced fields from above, Explore Hieu Waterfall, Thai Ancient Village, visit Hieu farm where the Deers  are raised on Thai family farms. Continue going about 8km, you will come to the Tien Moi village, where you can see the Water Wheel, a great invention of the Thai people to get water from the stream for the terraced fields on high.

In particular, you will be able to go through a picturesque bamboo forest, when you come out of the forest you will meet a village, most of the people here work as fish farms, the famous fish here is Ca Doc, a The type of fish that prefers the cool clear water flowing from the stream.

After that, continue to move to Ninh Binh. End of a nice trip.
